Join us on Monday evenings to discuss a broad selection of nonfiction.
This month's selection is Nomadland by Jessica Bruder. From the beet fields of North Dakota to Amazon's CamperForce program, employers have discovered a new, low-cost labor pool, made up largely of transient older Americans. These invisible casualties of the Great Recession have taken to the road by the tens of thousands in late-model RVs, travel trailers, and vans.
Copies of this month’s selection will be available at the library. Call 815-534-6173 for more information, or to register.
